Only 20 days till the album releases, and 13 days till the iTunes pre-order! The work is done, and now it's time to see how it goes.
I am sometimes asked how I decide the arrangements of songs. Why do I make something a rock song? Why do I make something a more classical piece? To be perfectly honest, I don't think too much about how to arrange. As I have said before, I have a general idea pretty quickly where I want a song to go. It's getting to the end of the road that can be a challenge. One thing you can certainly tell is who I had been listening to in my spare time when doing a piece. "Go For Broke" (off my first album) definitely sounds like something that could be in a Rocky or sports themed film.
If you listen to Dream Theater, I think you can tell what song I was listening to when I did "We Three Kings." "Away In A Manager" definitely sounds like my homage to Mannheim Steamroller. I love to dabble in different styles.
Soon I'll give the list of places you can buy, download, or stream the album!!
