I started this album's journey around mid January.  It has been a while since I had a serious project to work on, and it was about time I changed that.  It wasn't a very hard decision to do a holiday album.  The "Christmas Medley" on my first album was the 2nd most downloaded song from the album (behind "21st Century Fur Elise"), and many people I had talked to had suggested I do one.  Mannheim Steamroller and Trans-Siberian Orchestra are two of my big influences in my music, and this album will definitely show signs of these influences.

Today, after a good bit of hours, 9 of the 11 tracks have been transferred from my keyboard workstation (a Yamaha Motif Classic controlling a Yamaha Motif Rack XS for you equipment nerds) over to my computer.  A 10th track is ready to be transferred while track 11 is still being worked on.  Some of these arrangements came very easy to me, while a couple of them took many revisits before I was happy.

In hindsight, this is the album that I should have done first.  I feel more excited about how this one is turning out than the first one.  While I am proud of my first album, there were definitely details that I overlooked due to laziness, inexperience, or lack of education on self producing an album.  It will definitely show in the finished product.
